I'm trying to grow my freelance business, but finding new clients is tough. I've heard that referrals can help, but I have no idea how to get them. Do I just ask my clients? Should I offer some kind of reward?

I want to make sure I don't sound pushy or desperate. I also want to attract quality clients who actually need my services. If referrals work, I'd love to know the best way to get them consistently.
