Ask What are the best ways to collect and showcase testimonials in membership site?

I want to add testimonials to my membership site but I'm not sure how to collect them. I was thinking I ask members directly or use a form? Do incentives help, or will that seem forced? Also, where is the best place to showcase them on the homepage, a separate page, or somewhere else? I want them to look real and build trust. If you have experience with this, I'd love some advice.
