I'm planning an online course, and I keep hearing about modular outlines. I don't really understand how they work or why they're useful. Right now, my course plan is just a long list of topics. It feels hard to change or rearrange anything.
I want a structure that makes updates and improvements easier. I also want the course to be clear and engaging for students. But I'm not sure if a modular outline is the right approach.
Does it help with organizing content better? Does it make things easier for students? I don't want to overcomplicate things if a simple outline works just fine.
What are the real benefits of using a modular outline for an online course?
