I will advise the person to be hardworking and focus on generating a lot of positive reviews for the service they offer in the freelance marketplace. Most beginners focus on making money first with their freelance journey and the end of being frustrated. Learn to say no. Some people will ask you to work for free just to build your name. That is a lie. Real clients will pay you from the first minute. Do not waste your time helping someone who does not value your skill. You deserve to get paid for effort.
