If clicks drop or people aren't spending much time on the content, that's a sign. I also check how often the same folks are seeing the ad. Engagement in comments and shares tells a story too; if it's slowing down, something's off. I like to test a few different creatives or headlines and see which ones are still performing. When some start tanking compared to others, it's time for a refresh.
