I've been working on display ads for a little while now and still figuring out how to make the visuals really pop in such a small space. I've try to using bold colors and simple shapes to catch attention quickly. Sometimes I add minimal text to keep it clean.

I also experimented with animated elements to see if movement helps convey the message faster. It feels like there's a fine line between too much and just enough. I want the ad to tell a story without overwhelming the viewer.

What's your favorite visual storytelling technique for display ads with limited space?

For me, it's all about keeping things simple and bold. I usually pick one strong image that gets the point across right away—something that grabs attention but isn't too crazy. Then I throw in a quick, catchy headline that tells a little story or sparks some feeling, like curiosity or urgency. Colors and contrast help too, 'cause they make the ad stand out and guide your eyes where I want 'em.
