Some can feel strange because the products are not everyday needs, yet they still have loyal buyers. These programs often pay commissions just like the common ones, but they might seem odd at first because of the unique products involved. Joining such programs sometimes helps reach small but passionate audiences that buy regularly. Have you ever come across an affiliate program that seemed unusual at first, and did promoting it actually work out better than expected?

I came across an affiliate program for mushroom-growing kits, and I couldn't believe people would actually buy them. But after doing some research, I found a whole community of people interested in growing their own mushrooms at home. I promoted it on a niche blog, and it did way better than I expected. The lesson I learned is that what seems unusual to one person might be totally normal (and profitable) to someone else
