Ask What’s the best way for influencer to ask for a contract without sounding difficult?

I feel pretty lost when it comes to handling this. I've started working on more partnerships lately and things are moving quickly. Every time a new brand reaches out, we talk ideas and content first.

I always wonder about the business side. I've seen other creators mention contracts and I know I should protect myself, too. So far, I haven't figured out how to bring it up without sounding like I'm making things complicated.
