I'm not sure if I'm overcomplicating this or missing something. I run an e-commerce store that ships to customers in different states. My sales have grown this year and I've started thinking more about how fast orders reach people.

Right now I use one fulfillment center that stores all my products. Shipping works fine for nearby customers, though orders going to distant states take longer and cost more. I've been reading about using multiple locations to speed things up.

I'm trying to figure out if that makes sense for my size of business. Should you use one fulfillment center for e-commerce store or multiple locations?
