Ask Should Upwork rebuild trust before introducing new charges?

Whenever a platform brings in new charges without first fixing the trust issues people already have, it usually makes things worse instead of better for everyone involved. Many freelancers already feel unsure about staying loyal, and adding more fees on top of that frustration might push some of them away completely. Maybe the smarter move would be to first show freelancers that their concerns are heard before asking them to pay more. What is your honest opinion on this?
