I feel a little confused about hosting choices right now. I see many options like shared and dedicated hosting, and I cannot figure out which one makes more sense for a small e-commerce store.

I built a demo store and launched it on a shared hosting plan. It works fine for now since traffic is low. I did notice some slowdowns at certain times, and that made me wonder how it might perform when more people visit.

Now I keep thinking if moving to dedicated hosting would be smarter in the long run. Should small e-commerce stores choose shared or dedicated hosting?

This is because shared is cheap and fine and both Shopify/WooCommerce run great on it. You might not need a Dedicated hosting yet and note that it is costly at least 10x more for speed you don't need yet. So, you can upgrade to VPS or dedicated only when traffic or security demands it.
