Should I send a proposal immediately after a call or wait a day?

There is a need to chill as a freelancer. You don't need to be feeling as if you are in need of the tasks badly. Clients always check the body countenance of the freelancers. When they discover that you are rushing them, they may not want to trust you. So it is better to give your clients some days before you start reminding them or even sending them any proposal. What's your take on this?
