Ask Should freelancers regularly compare different platforms?

A lot of freelancers pick one platform early on and just stay there for years without ever checking what else exists. Meanwhile new sites keep showing up, some with lower fees, some with better paying clients, and things change fast in this space. Staying loyal to one platform out of habit might mean missing something better without even knowing it. Do you think freelancers should make it a habit to check other platforms once in a while?
