I'm not totally sure about this strategy. I see a lot of e-commerce brands selling on multiple marketplaces. I don't really know if diversifying revenue streams that way is always the best move.

I started with my own store and kept everything in one place. Later I tested a small batch of products on another platform. The sales came in, although the fees and rules felt very different from my own site.

I'm still comparing both approaches to see what works better. Should e-commerce brands diversify revenue streams across marketplaces?

If you stick to only one place and something goes wrong, your sales could tank. But if you're on a few different sites, you get to reach more people and have more chances to sell stuff. Plus, each marketplace has its own cool tools and promos that can help boost your biz. It's like not putting all your eggs in one basket. So yeah, spreading out your sales channels is a chill way to keep things steady and growing

Diversifying revenue streams across multiple marketplaces can indeed have several benefits for e-commerce brands. By selling on multiple platforms, you have the opportunity to reach a larger pool of potential customers who might not have come across your products on your own store.

Sticking to just one is super risky. By selling on multiple platforms, you reach more people, get your stuff seen by different crowds, and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Sure, it means juggling more inventory, shipping, and customer messages, but the payoff is usually worth it. Plus, you can test out different prices or promos on each site to see what works best.

Diversifying revenue streams by selling across multiple marketplaces can be a strategic move for e-commerce brands. By expanding your reach to different platforms, you can tap into new customer bases, increase brand visibility, and potentially drive more sales. However, it's important to carefully consider the costs, fees, and rules associated with each marketplace to ensure that the benefits outweigh the challenges.
