Ask Should clients also pay higher platform fees?

Right now most platforms take their fees from the freelancer's side, while clients often pay very little extra to use the platform. Some people believe this is unfair, since both sides benefit from the service and should share the cost. Others think clients already pay enough through the total project cost, so adding another fee might discourage them from hiring. Should clients share more of this fee burden?

High platform fee will definitely be chase away look client if they are to apply on them. Customer are always the king and that is how client have been treated on the freelance platforms. Influx of client is the reason why most of the freelance platform still exists. So they are doing everything to keep them on the platform
