Ask Should businesses pay more attention to watch time than views?

Views only show that someone clicked or the video started playing, but that does not mean they actually watched much of it. Watch time shows how long people stayed, which can say a lot about whether the content actually held their attention. A high view count with low watch time might mean the content looked good at first but failed to keep people interested. Should businesses focus more on watch time, or is view count still just as important?
