Ask Should beginners avoid crowded freelance platforms?

Some freelance platforms are so full of freelancers that new people barely get noticed by clients. I think beginners might do better on smaller or newer platforms where competition is lower and clients pay closer attention to new profiles. Still, popular platforms often have more job postings and better paying clients overall. This makes the choice difficult for someone just starting out. Should beginners avoid crowded freelance platforms and try smaller ones instead?
 
Well if you if that is what is going to get them the result faster I will advise them to avoid the crowded freelance marketplaces. The reason is that it gives them the opportunity to explore some other means of attracting high paying clients. Desire chances that they are not going to make a lot of money if they stick to the free last marketplace that has been crowded
