I hope you're all doing well. I am currently working with FortiWeb and still learning its various features and configurations. I have a question and would really appreciate your guidance or support. Specifically, I'm trying to understand how to perform URL redirection using FortiWeb.

For example, I want to redirect traffic from http://example.com to https://training.com. I would like to know the correct way to configure this redirection within FortiWeb. If anyone has done this before or has access to a relevant knowledge base (KB) article, configuration guide, or documentation, could you please share it with me?

Thanks in advance for your help and time. I truly appreciate any insights or references you can provide.

That's something I've seen others do on FortiWeb. They go to the Object/URL Rewrite section and create a rule where the action is a redirect. You specify the source as http://example.com (or just the hostname without http://) and then set the target as https://training.com. Make sure the virtual server in FortiWeb is listening on example.com so the rule catches it. After setup, test from a browser to confirm the redirect works properly.

From what I know, the key is getting your FortiWeb configuration set up just right. Might be worth checking out their documentation or any relevant KB articles they have - those tend to have clear, step-by-step guidance on how to properly redirect traffic from one domain to another. And if you're still stuck, their support team is usually pretty helpful too. Just take it one step at a time, and I'm sure you'll have that redirection working in no time.
