Is "Value-Based Pricing" ethically viable if the client doesn't see immediate ROI?

Value based pricing is ethical to be blunt. The freelancers should however not be held accountable for the market performance of a product that has worked on. Value based pricing include making sure that you are charged based on the outcomes of the tasks rather than the hours that you spent. Clients should however not blame the clients in a situation where the performance is not really favorable. What do you think about this? Share it in the comment section below
