Ask Is Upwork's business model sustainable?

A lot of freelancers keep wondering if Upwork can keep running the way it is right now without losing many people. The fees keep going up, yet the platform still adds more freelancers every single day, which makes competition harder for everyone working there. Some people believe this kind of model cannot last forever without pushing skilled workers away for good. Do you think Upwork can survive for many more years without losing trust from the people who built it?

I believe it can sustain for a while but it will never be very long before another business model take over it in the marketplace. If a business focus on exploiting one of the integral part of it it can only exist for a while but not for long time and on the upwork right now
