Unifying demand via header bidding in mobile would probably offer the same benefits you'd expect to see in desktop: higher eCPM, improved yield management, higher revenue, etc. There are definitely demand sources for mobile traffic and mobile optimized sizes.
On the other hand, latency and longer pageloads are a bigger concern in mobile, where connection speeds are less predictable and any additional third party calls done via header tags therefore more "expensive"
I'd love to hear from adops folks with first-hand experience here. I imagine that some of the SSPs or DSPs provide a toolkit and support for implementing this in mobile.
