Some freelancers are careful about sharing their exact location, whether for privacy reasons or because they worry it might affect how clients see them. Most platforms ask for location during registration, but it is not always clear how much of that information gets shown publicly on your profile. I have seen profiles that only show a country, while others show a city too. I do not know if platforms require full location details or if there is some flexibility in what you can keep private. What does the platform policy actually say about this?
