Sometimes you see a job post that has been sitting there for over a month and nobody has been hired yet. It makes me wonder if the client is still looking or if they just forgot to close the advertisement after finding someone else. If a post stays up for too long, it can be a waste of time for new people who are applying. I want to know if there is a limit. Is there a rule about how long a job posting can stay active before it must be renewed?
