In most places, there is no law that says you must be a certain age to offer a service and get paid for it. However, some freelancing platforms do require users to be at least 18, which can be a barrier for teenagers who want to get started early. Parents sometimes help younger freelancers manage payments and contracts until they are old enough to do it on their own.
