Ask Is it worth buying Upwork Connects or is it a waste of money?

Upwork uses a system called Connects which are like digital tokens you must spend to apply for any job. You get a few for free, but you usually have to buy more if you want to apply for many positions. Many people feel like they are spending too much money just to find work that they might not even get. I am trying to decide if I should keep buying them. Do you think buying these connects is a good investment?
