Ask Is it true that referral clients are easier to work with than those from cold outreach?

Many freelancers say that clients who come through a referral are more trusting, easier to communicate with, and more likely to respect your process. The thinking is that because someone they know already vouched for you, the relationship starts with more goodwill. Cold outreach clients, on the other hand, sometimes take longer to trust you and may question your rates or approach more. Has this been true in your experience, or have you had referral clients who were just as difficult as anyone else?
