The key is creativity and leveraging what you already have. You need to start by offering a service that uses your skill like writing, teaching consulting etc to build yourself up. All you need is time and consistency to put money aside for the business. You can take advantage of free tools and platforms, like social media, to market yourself. You can also barter services or partner with someone who has resources. You should always Focus on solving real problems. Yes. It is possible. But the fact is that it may be indirectly impossible because even if you want to start making money online, you still need money to buy data or any Internet connection. But all said and done, time is the basic currency required of you for online business.
 
A lot of people start with services instead of products because that usually doesn't cost anything upfront. You can use free stuff online to get the word out, like social media, and networking is huge so sometimes trading skills or teaming up with someone else can get things rolling. Starting small and putting any money you make back into the business works too.
 
There are some people that don't really need much capital. But majority of these businesses are done online. With this, they may even reach out to many audience. They don't need to start big. They can start with small amount to get it tested first before expanding it.
 
Things like freelance writing, graphic design, or social media management can start with just a laptop and internet. The problem is getting your first clients when you have no portfolio or reputation. You will probably have to work for cheap or even free at first just to build proof that you can deliver results.
 
If you truly have nothing, you need to figure out what you can offer that people will pay for right now. Teaching something you know, doing tasks people hate, or solving small problems can bring in quick money. Then you reinvest that into growing slowly.
 
Dropshipping and affiliate marketing get mentioned a lot as no-money businesses, but they are not really free. You still need traffic, which costs either time or money. Running ads takes cash. So these models look free on the surface but require serious investment of something.
 
The internet changed things because you can reach customers without renting a shop or printing flyers. But competition is crazy now.
