Forums are places where people discuss topics and look for useful answers, so placing an affiliate link in a reply can make sense if the product is truly helpful. The challenge is that many forums do not allow promotional links, and some will remove posts that look like ads. Even when links are allowed, readers may ignore them if the reply feels like it was only written to push a product. A better approach is to give a full and useful answer first, then mention the product at the end as something that may help further. When the reply is helpful, readers are more open to checking the link. Are affiliate links in forum posts still worth trying today?
