I'm currently on OPT (Optional Practical Training) in the U.S. and I'm considering starting a freelance business. However, I'm not sure if it's legal to earn money from a freelance business while I'm on OPT, especially if I'm working for clients in a foreign country.

I've heard that there are certain restrictions on what kind of work is allowed under OPT, and I don't want to accidentally violate any rules.

Does anyone know if freelancing for international clients is allowed while on OPT? What are the legal considerations or limitations I should be aware of?

Is it safe to go ahead with this idea?
