Some women who freelance say they face certain challenges that their male counterparts do not always deal with, like being taken less seriously or having to prove themselves more before a client trusts their work. Others say freelancing actually gives them more control over who they work with, which removes a lot of that stress. Experiences seem to differ based on the industry and the type of clients involved. What has your experience been like in this regard?
