It is common. There is a need to do some trial works that need to be done truly. This will show the clients that you truly know what you are doing as freelancers. Most of the times, clients don't always trust freelancers that do not have any portfolios and any experience prior the program. You need to make sure that you are working towards the satisfaction of your clients and do what can make them trust you.
