Every freelancer eventually faces this question at some point in their career, especially when fees and expenses start eating into their earnings more than before. Charging higher rates can scare away clients who are used to paying less, but accepting lower profits for a long time can leave a freelancer feeling drained and undervalued. Finding a balance between the two is not always simple, and it often depends on personal circumstances. Which option do you think makes more sense?
 
It is a sign of low self-esteem to sell yourself short on the service you offer in the free last marketplace when you know that you offer quality. There is no point in downsizing your your price and your value where you know that you offer something superior to under freelance in the marketplace
