This comes up a lot in creative fields like writing, design, and photography. A freelancer completes a job and then wonders if they can sell the same piece elsewhere since they created it. The answer probably depends on what was agreed in the contract, but platform rules may also have something to say about it. Some clients pay expecting full ownership, while others only pay for limited use. I want to know if freelance platforms themselves have any guidelines that cover this situation beyond what the client agreement says.
