When writing a proposal, some freelancers mention how their work compares to others on the platform, thinking it makes them sound more competitive. But I have always wondered if that crosses a line. Naming or commenting on another freelancer's profile in your own proposal could be seen as unprofessional or even as a rule violation. Some platforms are strict about what you can say in proposals, and I am not sure where this specific thing falls. Is there anything in the platform guidelines that addresses this directly?
