Is it advisable for freelancers making clients their close friends?

There are some people that fault this. They believe that freelancers should keep distance. They should act professional all through. They should not be acting so professional. When there is too close relationship between clients and freelancers, it does reduce the quality and cause unnecessary familiarity which will not make the freelancing service at the end of the day pay for the freelancers.
