The sustainability of freelancing is not really a matter of family man. It all depends on the income of the family man and how he's structured his income. There are some family men that are okay with little and can even plan towards it. Others are not like that. In fact some of them will always need to have much money before they can be a better family man. You need to make sure that you structure your budget first to know how much you will be needing to know if freelancing can be a better scheme for you.
