Is freelancing taking over traditional jobs these days?

I don't know whether you notice the trend. There are many people these days that are even ready to leave their traditional jobs for freelancing. Majority of them always believe that there is no much money when it comes to traditional jobs. They prefer to have freelancing instead. They believe that freelancing will give them much time for them to do other things that they want to do. What do you think about this? Do you also think of this? I don't think freelancing can take over the traditional jobs because both of them are quite distinctive. Freelance job as rule they play in the business and the traditional jobs also have the road they play in the economy. You don't mix the two together. One thing I can say is that business can benefit from both.
