Is freelancing on Upwork still worth it in 2026?

For freelancers, there must have been sometimes when they would have asked themselves the question above. Surely the question is asked based on the fact that they nust gone through emotional aspects of having to write different proposals just o secure clients. Sometimes, the stress of seeing your efforts not leading to anything because clients are not just coming. But all the same, can all these be summed up and got into conclusion that working on Upwork doesn't worth it?
