Is earning much in freelancing enough reason to motivate new freelancers?

It's always a thing of motivation seeing that you can earn much if you are a freelancer. This will make you to want to spend much time with it. To some people, it is even more than enough reason to start freelancing journey. There are many people that are just convinced just because of the earning. What do you think? Are you motivated because of the much earning that is associated with freelancing?

I think the four most reason why a lot of people go into freelancing is to create another streams of income to support the existing when they have at hand or to start making some.
