There is no doubt that digital marketing has become the most discussed topic over time. Its relevance has made it easier to be the subject of discussion. Digital marketing, however, has come with different misconceptions. Among them is the belief that it is only meant for the big businesses only.

Judging from the angle of its expensiveness, someone may be wrongly advised that it is only meant for those that are rich. This may not be the case as anybody can be a beneficiary of digital marketing. What do you think? Small business can leverage on it, especially the cost-effective strategies part of it for their business promotion.

Even huge brands can't just rely on their name anymore. With stuff like social media, emails, SEO, and online ads, companies can actually talk to their customers, see what's trending, and react super fast. Plus, it's way cheaper than TV ads or billboards and you can actually see what's working. If big companies ignore digital marketing, they risk falling behind competitors who are connecting with people online. Basically, in today's world, digital marketing isn't just nice to have

Big businesses still need digital marketing, even though they already have a name. Traditional ads can't reach everyone anymore. With social media and search ads, they can remind people they still exist and show they're keeping up with new trends. It's more about staying relevant than just promoting.

Some people think big brands don't need digital marketing since everyone already knows them, but that's not really true. Big companies compete with each other every day, and online presence plays a huge part in who gets noticed first. If they stop marketing digitally, they lose attention fast because people's focus changes quickly online.

Even for large companies, digital marketing helps control the story people see about them. Social media, reviews, and online content shape public opinion. Without a strong online strategy, rumors or bad reviews can spread fast. So yes, they still need it, not just for ads but to manage their brand's image and trust online.

Big businesses may not depend on digital marketing for survival, but it gives them an edge. It lets them talk directly to customers, test new products fast, and get real feedback. It's more flexible than TV or billboards. In today's market, not being online means missing out on a huge part of the audience.

Maybe they don't need digital marketing as much as small businesses do, but it's still important. The world's attention is online now, and even the biggest brands can't ignore that. Whether it's brand awareness, customer service, or product launches, the internet is where people talk. So skipping digital marketing would just make them seem outdated.
