One thing that makes digital marketing stands out is the fact that it is measurable. Digital marketing makes it easier for the affiliate marketers to measure the views, engagement and even clicks. Unlike traditional advertising, it spells out clearly all ways by which all three metrics can be measured.

It is always better measuring these metrics to make it easier for the affiliate marketers to know whether he's making profit or not. When last do you measure your metrics?

Digital marketing is very measurable. This has made it easier for the marketers to know whether they are making profit or not. Measuring of digital marketing strategies and KPI will make the digital marketers focuses on the right ones to make use of. And measuring should be done at some regular intervals to get accurate answers.

Digital marketing is way more measurable, no question. With traditional marketing like billboards or TV ads, you're basically guessing how many people saw it or if it led to any sales. Digital gives you exact numbers on everything. You can see how many people clicked, where they came from, how long they stayed, and whether they bought anything. That kind of data makes it so much easier to figure out what's working and what's not.

Traditional marketing can still be measured, just not as easily. Things like promo codes or specific landing pages help track where sales came from. But yeah, digital is on another level. You can literally see the path someone took from ad to purchase. That level of detail just doesn't exist with print ads or radio spots.

I measure my metrics maybe once or twice a month unless something seems off. I do not think you need to obsess over them daily unless you are spending a lot on ads. For organic traffic, things change slowly, so checking every day doesn't really tell you much.

Totally agree that measurability is the biggest difference. The simple fact that I can look at my dashboard and see I had 5,000 views, 100 clicks, and 5 sales, tells me exactly what worked and what didn't. You can't get that with a newspaper ad or a billboard.

Here's the thing, traditional marketing does have some ways to measure results, even if it's harder. You could use a unique phone number just for a flyer, or a special coupon code for a magazine ad. It's not as simple as Google Analytics, but you can still get an idea of where the sales came from.

One of the great things about digital is how quickly you can change things. If I post an ad and see the click-through rate is terrible after a few hours, I can completely rewrite the text or change the image in five minutes and see if it gets better. Try doing that with a print ad that you already sent to the press 😄

To some digital marketers, especially those that are very expert in it, they will believe that it is still easier to measure traditional marketing. The only thing is that it may not be accurate or it may be stressful, unlike the digital marketing where there are tools that can make it simpler on place, for the digital marketers.

The speed of feedback is what really sets digital apart. With traditional marketing, you might wait weeks or even months to figure out if something worked. By then, you've already spent the budget and moved on. Digital lets you see results almost immediately, so you can fix things before wasting too much money.

With a TV commercial, you have no clue what happens after someone sees it. Maybe they remember your brand, maybe they forget it five minutes later. That lack of clarity makes it hard to improve or even justify the cost. Digital gives you actual proof of what is happening.

Traditional marketing isn't completely unmeasurable, but it takes way more effort. You need things like custom URLs, special promo codes, or tracking phone numbers just to get a rough idea of what's working. And even then, the data isn't perfect. Someone might see your billboard, then search for your brand online and buy later. How do you track that? With digital, the tracking happens automatically. You don't have to create workarounds just to understand basic performance.

Yes. It is possible to measure the effectiveness of your digital marketing and even track the performance of the digital marketing strategies. This may be so in in traditional marketing as well but it is not easily done just like the digital marketers will want it to be done

Yes, digital marketing is much easier to measure compared to traditional marketing because businesses can track things like clicks, views, conversions, and engagement in real time. Instead of guessing if an ad worked, they can actually see numbers and understand what people are doing after seeing the campaign online.
