Many freelancers start by offering several services because it gives them more chances to find work. At the same time, some people say clients trust freelancers more when they focus on one area and become known for it. Both approaches seem to have benefits depending on the situation and the type of clients being targeted. In today's freelance market, do you think being a generalist is still a good idea, or is it becoming less useful?

My answer to the question is no. It is very important for you to be niche Focus. People are doing generalist because they are desperate to make money from all angle in the freelance marketplace. They have their focus divided and they find it difficulty give high satisfying services in the freelance marketplace.
