The relevance of banner ads cannot be put to test. This is because banner ads will always be relevant when it comes to driving traffic. However one needs to know the right advertiser to partner with in order to get the best form of it. Aside this, there is a need to know the right place to place the banner on the website.

What do you think about the banner ads? Share what you think in the comment section below.

A lot of people just scroll right past them nowadays, especially if they look boring or super spammy. But if you design them well and target the right audience, they can actually grab attention. Retargeting helps too, like showing ads to people who've already checked out your site. That can boost your chances of getting clicks or sales. They're also good for keeping your brand out there, even if people don't click right away.

Honestly, I think banner blindness is a real problem now. So many people have learned to ignore those blocks of space where the banners usually sit, even if they aren't using an ad blocker. I think they still work for huge, well-known brands that just want to keep their name in front of people, but for a smaller business, the click-through rates seem really low.

I agree completely that banner ads are still very much a thing, but the way we use them has changed a lot. It's not about just sticking a big, colorful ad on every page anymore. They work best now when they are shown to a very specific group of people who are already interested in that topic.

I think banners are okay for getting traffic, but I'm not sure how effective they are for getting sales anymore. They do great with building awareness, that is true, because people see the logo over and over. But when it comes to getting someone to actually buy something immediately, I feel like you need something with more content, like a native ad that looks like part of the page or a sponsored post.

Back in the early internet days, people actually clicked on them because they were new and kind of exciting. Now? Most of us barely notice them. We've all developed that automatic scroll-past reflex. But that doesn't mean they're useless. Banner ads are actually pretty solid for brand awareness. Even if you don't click, you still see the logo, the colors, the name. After a while, it sticks. They're also great for retargeting

Of course, it can still work well in digital marketing when the banners are designed properly and shown to the right audience. Many people ignore poor banners because they have seen too many low quality ads online. But clean designs with simple messages can still grab attention and bring clicks, especially for brand awareness campaigns.
