Is attracting international clients a milestone to your freelancing journey?

Many a time, freelancers are always happy only when they have access to international clients. They do believe that this will surely raise their profiles and at the same time make them to have much money for themselves. While many people have seen this as a milestone, there are some that do not really give a damn. They don't see one client from different from others. They believe that international clients should be seen just like any regular local clients.

Are we definitely attract international client with my freelance agency because I reach out to my target audience and they can come from any country. The only thing that can be a milestone for me is to land a big project that fetch me a lot of profit with a little effort.
