Ask Is AI actually stealing freelance jobs or just making clients greedier?

I have noticed that many clients who used to hire writers, designers, and coders are now trying to use AI tools to get the same work done for almost nothing. At first, I thought AI was taking jobs away, but now I am starting to think it is making clients expect more while paying less. They still want the same quality but they feel AI should make it cheaper. So I am curious, do you think AI is actually replacing freelancers or just making clients harder to work with?
