Adsterra's one of those ad networks that a lot of people dig because the CPM rates are decent, it's got a bunch of ad types, payouts are low, and it's super easy to get started. They've been around for a while, and a lot of blogs, apps, and social traffic sites make money with them. That said, the best really depends on your traffic. Some folks love it and make good cash, others think the payouts aren't great for certain traffic.

Adstera is one of the best Cost Per Impression network that you can bank on. It pays well for impression. This has made it easier for the affiliate and even content writers to depend on using it. The company pays competitive payment for this. It has user-friendly interface.

As most people say, Adsterra ad network is only good if you have the most traffic from top tier countries (such as USA or UK) but if most of your traffic comes from low tier countries (mostly Asian countries), your revenue will be pretty low.
One thing that makes me stop using Adsterra aside from the low revenue is the fact that Adsterra applied popunder that makes most of the readers on my site keep complaining they are redirected to R18 website and even some of them almost flagged my website as full of malware site.

A lot of people use it when they can't get into AdSense or just want something quick to monetize their site. It has different ad types and can pay okay, especially if your traffic is from countries like the US or UK. But the earnings can be pretty up and down, so don't expect super steady income. Also some of the ads can feel a bit aggressive or annoying for users. Overall it's fine for beginners or side sites, but if you're trying to seriously maximize earnings long-term there are usually better more stable ad networks
