A link from a site with a score of 60 is probably going to help more than one from a brand new blog with a score of 10. But also remember, some smaller sites with engaged audiences can send you better traffic than big sites with high scores but no real visitors.
 
Domain authority isn't something you can directly control like you would with on-page SEO. It's more about building your site's reputation over time through consistent effort. Getting mentioned by credible sources, creating shareable content, and avoiding spammy link practices all play into it.
 
The score updates regularly, so you might see it jump up or drop down depending on what's happening across the web. I wouldn't obsess over it daily, but checking it every few months can show you if your link building efforts are paying off or if you need to adjust your strategy moving forward.
