If a client achieved their stated goal, my coaching approach would shift from goal completion to maintaining progress and building new challenges. I would focus on reflecting on what worked, identifying habits that supported success, and helping the client apply those lessons to future goals. Tracking their confidence, motivation, and continued growth would show whether the changes are lasting or need adjustment. Follow-up conversations would reveal new interests, obstacles, or areas where they want to improve. Instead of pushing toward the original target, coaching would become more about personal development and creating sustainable success.
