It has been made easier to know the pages that our website fall in while doing SEO. Every business owners wish to be on the first page at least if not the the first on the list. There are some tools that can be used to check the position that we later find ourselves.

Tools like SerpRobot, Taptimise and Ahrefs Serp Checker can be of great help while carrying this out. Which other tools do you know that can do this? Recommend any for the members.

Google Search Console is a must-have free tool that is directly from Google. It shows you which search terms people are using to find your website and what position you are in for those terms. It also tells you if Google is having any problems crawling your pages. It is the most direct way to see how your site is performing in the actual search results.

For checking your ranking for specific keywords, Semrush is a very popular option. It allows you to track dozens of keywords over time so you can see if you are moving up or down. It also shows you what keywords your competitors are ranking for, which can give you new ideas for content. It does have a cost, but it provides a lot of useful data in one place.

I would also suggest using a simple analytics tool like Google Analytics. While it does not show your search ranking, it shows you what happens after someone clicks on your link. You can see how many people are visiting your site from Google, which pages they are looking at, and how long they stay. This helps you understand if your SEO efforts are leading to engaged visitors.

You can also use tools like SE Ranking and Moz Pro for checking keyword positions and overall SEO performance, as they give detailed ranking updates and competitor insights. For a more technical and free option, Google Search Console is very important because it shows exactly how your site appears in Google search, including clicks, impressions, and average position. Combining one paid tracker with Google Search Console gives a much clearer and more accurate view of your SEO progress.

You know, the first thing to check is whether your website is getting more visitors from search engines over time. If organic traffic is growing, it usually means your SEO efforts are moving in the right direction. Tools like Google Analytics can show how many people are visiting, which pages they view, and how long they stay on the site.

Business results matter more than traffic numbers. A website with 1,000 visitors who become customers is often better than one with 10,000 visitors who leave without taking action. That is why tracking leads, sales, sign-ups, or other goals is important. Good SEO is not just about getting visitors. It is about attracting the right visitors who help the business grow.
