Social media audit will happen when social media users scrutinize all their social media platforms in order to know the ones that are working. Apart from this, this analysis can make them know their competitors and know the best strategy to make use in order to know how to fight the competitors.

This as well can make them know the right demography to focus on. This can be done at some intervals for effectiveness. What's your thought?
 
From my experience, quarterly audits work best. I go through content performance, follower quality, and engagement rates. I also check if links, hashtags, and posting times are still effective. Sometimes I do mini-checks monthly just to spot obvious issues, but a full audit every three months gives enough data to adjust strategy without wasting time on minor fluctuations.
 
Personally, I'd say every 6 months is a good time to carry out a social media audit. However, if you're actively growing or running ads, it's better to do it quarterly to review your progress. Audits help you see which posts or platforms are performing well and where you might be wasting time. It's all about staying updated and improving based on real data.
 
I usually do a social media audit every few months, like every three to six months or so. I don't bother checking it all the time but it's good to peek at what's actually working. I check stuff like which posts are getting likes or comments, if followers are growing, and if my branding looks the same everywhere. It's basically a way to make sure I'm not wasting time on stuff people don't care about. Honestly, it's kind of like spring cleaning for my socials
